HOW MUCH MONEY COULD YOU RAISE ?

RACE SPONSORSHIP (€50.00 to €100 per race, 8-10 races) ...... €400 - €1000
Get a local business or club member to sponsor a race.
They will have a race named after their business printed on the Race Card.

HORSE OR DOG OWNERSHIP (€10.00 per horse/dog ) ...... €400 - €600
Sell each horse or dog and get the "owner" to name it or have the owners name printed in the Race Card.
With some form of prize (e.g. €20/€30 or a bottle of wine / spirits) presented to the winning horse/dog owner on the night.

TOTE BETTING ( €2 Minimum Bet ) ...... €500 - €1000
Based on each person spending €2 on each race with your Organisation keeping 50%.

AUCTION RACE (€20.00 - €100 bid per horse/dog) ...... £80.00 - €250
Sell each horse/dog to the highest bidder on one or more races. Give 50% of the total to the winning owner,
50% to your funds. The amounts bid for the dogs can vary widely from event to event.

It can depend on how good your MC is at whipping up the crowd to purchase the horses/dogs and how much drink has been taken on board by the end of the night. The Tote would also operate on an auction race.

ADMISSION TICKETS (€2.00) ...... $100 - €200
To ensure good attendance you could also sell Admission Tickets in advance of your event.

RAFFLE TICKETS (€1.00) ...... $100 - €300
You can run a raffle on the night for addition spot prices. Anything from a bottle of wine to a holiday.

GRAND TOTAL RAISED…… Between €1600 & €3350

All the above figures and percentages and suggestions are completely flexible to meet your needs.

In addition you can sell the Race Cards, sell food, and of course you have a captive audience for the bar.

We cannot guarantee you will make the amounts above, but with careful planning, a bit of work my your committee members and a reasonable attendance you should cover your costs, make a good profit and have a great fun night for your club.
